We had a fantastic day to celebrate our annual Foursomes Championships.  Blue skies and sunshine were the order of the day on the Village Green.  Our playing partners were Duncan & Rosalie Dyer and Neville and Jan Walker who were great company and we did have some good highlights including some good pars, chips and drives unfortunately not necessarily at the right time.  It was a good day in good conditions with good company - what else can we ask for.

The Golf Event of the day was the 2018 Club Foursomes Championships which is always hotly contested every year.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Jan & Neville Walker parred the 8/13/15th holes; Duncan Dyer & Rosalie Dyer parred the 12th and the 16th holes; Peter and Jan Martin parred the 14th after Jan's super chip over the bunker and micro distance from the hole; our sixsome had some very almost in the hole putts today, slipping by the hole and around the hole and in and out of the hole; Paul and Lauren Smith had a birdie on the 14th; Sandy & Peter Laybutt found themselves in interesting spots on the course today; Dianne Beechey & Sam Knox enjoyed some pars; Leonie Casey had a good day in good company; the Turner's only missed one tree today; Cathy McGowan had a nice gobbler at the 6th; Owen and Fran James started with a 10 and finished with a 10; Terry and Sandra Coyle had a birdie on the 5th; Mark Stimpson & Alice Diamond had a birdie on the 8th;
