HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Neville Walker had 3/4 on the 1st and 5/3 on the 18th; Jan Walker had 4/3 on the 4th gobbler chip in, 4/3 on the 15th with a good chip to close to the hole, 3/3on the 5th, 3/3 on the 14th and 5/3 on the 17th; Clyde Cruickshanks was happy to be home from Thailand where they had a wonderful holiday; Tania Walklate had 4/3 on the 1st; Dick Bosley had 43 points after wiping a hole and no 4 pointers; Kevin O'Brien had two birdies - 10th and with a chip in on the 12th; Terry Coyle parred the first 3 holes; Lorraine Bignall and Sandra Coyle's highlight was their bacon and eggs breakfast plus Terry, Kevin, Sandra and Lorraine all scored 3 pointers at the 8th; Walter Loshi's group enjoyed a day in the sunshine; Lyn Cruickshanks parred the 8th,5th,16th and the 12th plus two wipes; Sandy Laybutt won nearest the pin on the 8th; Kay Frewin and Robyn Johnston were hanging in for a highlight on the Keno; John and Julie Hazzard together with Garry and DoreenTrigg enjoyed a walk in the sunshine, Garry had a birdie on the 2nd; Paul Smith had a birdie on the 17th; Lauren Smith had two pars and came in 3rd in the ladies singles; James Smith had a birdie on the 7th from the bunker; Paul Scholberg and Duncan Dyer beat the girls for the Keno Ticket and the girls needed a gentle hint to pay up at the end of the match; Warren Gray was on the 7th for two; my highlights were spending a day in the sunshine in my garden at home and catching up with the ironing (ho hum!) - I did not lose any golf balls and did not have to pay for the Keno ticket.
