We had a fantastic day for golf today - blue sky and sunshine - just as we like it.

My playing partners were Robyn Lee, Judy Verlander and Michele Kennett and we had a great day on the village green with some good highlights - the best of which was Robyn and I achieved a water free and bunker free event.

The Golf Event of the day was an American Foursomes - Captain Vs Presidents Day.

We had 58 starters.

The President's side were successful this year and have won the silver platter.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Fay Bailey hit a sensational drive on the 8th hole - almost a hole-in-one which was quickly cemented into a birdie by Lynn Puiatti; Judy Verlander looked replendant today in her new blue shirt; Robyn Lee did some great shots and saved the day on several occasions with good putting; my highlight was sinking a good long putt on the 11th.
