New paving work at the Wedding Garden
More weeding done at the 6th Native Garden
The standard Rose at the putting green
suffered a near death experience in the wild winds
saved by our F-Troopers
We had a very chilly start to our morning with some cold winds keeping our jumpers on.
On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O'Brien, John Hollebon, Geoff Bridge, Steve Hogg, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls and Jan Martin
The course was still very wet so our projects today were centred around the clubhouse. Projects done were replacing some lattice work at the back of the clubhouse, laying pavers in the Wedding Garden, saving the standard white iceburg rose at the putting green where the high winds had broken the rose supports, rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course, trimming the hedges around the course, cleaning of the bush toilets, tidy up of the gardens at the 14th green space and plantingin two donated plants, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden, more weeding done at at 6th Native garden.
Morning tea was very welcome where we enjoyed savoury breads, easter buns and iced buns. Thank you Barto!
After morning tea the boys did our first delivery of firewood while we added some extra supports to the iceburg rose and dead headed the roses to take some weight off the bushes.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
