We had a magnificent day for golf today. It was still a bit wet in the low lying areas but overall the course and greens were good. My playing partners were Carolyn Buttsworth and Kay Walker who were great company and we enjoyed our day in the sunshine apart from our sticky moments in the bunkers. We did have some good pars between to make up.
The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stroke - Gosford Bowl, Bronze Salver and Long Markers Day.
We had 81 starters with 18 visitors from Toronto, Terrigal, Wyong, Kurri, Shelly Beach and Magenta.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Carolyn Buttsworth had 3 pars; Kathy Small started 3 under and then played consistently; Sharon Anderson had a gobbler on the 12th, parred two of the par 3's and had three pars; Marianne Lanham had a birdie on the 8th; Kath Payn parred the 5th and the 17th and had a gobbler on the 4th; Viv Twelvetree had a gobbler on the 18th; Cheryl Davison parred the 16th; Barbara Stratford did not cry; Robin Incoll was an improved player on the back 9; Linda Rogers won two nearest the pins on the 12th and 14th; Dianne Roberts from Kurri won nearest the pin on the 8th; Pam Lambburne and Louise Ciscato from Toronto highlight was playing with Kay Adams and Sandra Coyle; Helen Stuart had a gobbler on the 8th; my highlights were my downhill putt on the 9th, my par on the 8th, no 3 putts on the back nine and winning a ball.
