We had a very busy day at F-Troop today and having 15 volunteers was a big help.

On hand were Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Terry Coyle, Don Nicholls, Garry Trigg, Steve Hogg, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Kevin O'Brien, Warren Gray, Jeff Rogers, Fred Middleton, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin

The Tree Gang of Duncan Dyer, Terry Coyle, Garry Trigg and Jeff Rogers picked up offcuts at the 6th tee, removed a broken branch from the Chinese Elm at the 6th Tee and undercut the Bunya Pines at the 16th fairway.

Kevin O'Brien, Trevor Harrison and Fred Middleton repaired the broken security fence at the 10th tee. Trevor and Don Nicholls laid some pavers at the practice putting green. Kevin and Fred then went to assist the Tree Gang

Warren Gray and Steve Hogg did rubbish pick up around the course.

Peter Martin and Don Nicholls picked up the supplies to commence the repair of the fence down Racecourse Road next week.

Di Beechey and Anne Burgess cleaned up around the clubhouse and BBQ area and painted the timber screens and bench tops.

John Hollebon did some painting work at the back of the clubhouse and also trimmed some of the hedges.

I worked at the 14th Bush Toilets, watered the pots at the 6th tranquility garden, the garden at the back of the 5th green, watered the Elk Horns in the Trees at the 5th fairway, tidied up at the Ladies 3rd Tee, watered the plants in the bike garden, watered the plant at the Ladies 9th Tee, cleaned up at the 1st and 10th tees and watered the gardens there, watered the pots in the wedding gazebo, watered all the potted plants and watered the camellias in the wedding garden.

We were all in need of morning tea as the day was starting to heat up. We enjoyed some savoury breads cakes and slices - Thank you Barto!

Next Monday we are expecting 140 ladies playing in a District Event in a 8.30 shogun start which means our access to the course will be restricted so the boys are going to commence the fence repair work down Racecouse Road which is going to be a big project.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
