Happy Birthday celebrations with Neville Walker, Garry Smith and Lorraine Bignall at Gosford Hotel

After a rather warm morning and early afternoon, late afternoon thunder storms moved in to interrupt our golf event for half an hour which dragged out the competition a bit.

The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2 Ball Team Mixed Men and Ladies.

We had 82 starters with 4 visitors from Shelly Beach and Toukley.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Annette Cross was on the 2nd green for three and scored 4/4; Ray and Carolyn Buttsworth were both on the 10th scoring 5/4 each; Lorraine Bignall used a 3 wood for her second shot on the 4th and reached the back of the green and also had no wipes; I did not play golf so my highlight was watching the golf onTV and having dinner after golf for birthday celebrations for three of our members.

A reminder to everyone to book out the 5th December 2015 for Presentation Night in your social calendars. The night is free for playing members and $35 for non members.  This will be a great night of celebration for all of our winners this year and we should all join in with celebrating with them. Organise your tables and get your tables booked with the office.  Last year was a great success. Let us make this year even better.
