I stopped for a minute at the 6th tranquility garden to say a prayer for all our ladies playing in the Championships tomorrow.

We had twelve volunteers this morning which helped us to move on with our projects.

On hand was Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, Geoff Bridge, Kevin O'Brien, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Phil Harrison, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

The tree gang of Duncan, Trevor, Geoff, Kevin took care of undercutting trees around the fairways.

Rob  and Don did some maintenance work on the clubhouse roof where we have a leakage problem and then they did rubbish pick up around the course.

Peter and Phil did a great job of unloading and spreading more road base on the pathways of the bush toilets, did some maintenance on the new trailer and identified the problem with the garden petrol cart.

Di, Anne and Carolyn cleaned up around the clubhouse, BBQ area, car parks, 1st and 10th tee areas.

I worked at cleaning at the bush toilets, tidied the gardens, cleaned out the gutter at the back of the 14th green, tidied the garden at the 6th tee, tidied the Ladies 3rd Tee, checked and weeded the newly planted trees at the 17th and the hedge plants at the 4th tee, tidied the garden at the 1st and 10th, watered the pots in the wedding gazebo and started to work on the garden at the Men's 10th tee.

We all appreciated morning tea after a hard morning's work. Thank you "Barto"!

It was good to see that a start has been made on the removal of the tree stumps left after the big storm earlier in the year. They are huge stumps so the course will be much improved when they are removed.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
