We had the most beautiful sunny day for golf at Gosford today. Combine that with some great company from our golf partners Wally and Rhonda Robertson who excelled themselves today with Rhonda winning the Ladies Singles Event and Wally being a close contender for the Men's Singles and our team only missing out on the action by one point. It is a shame that they did not get some good help from their partners but we had a lovely day with the boys winning the Keno Ticket on the 18th Hole - and an additional highlight was the Keno Ticket paying for our day of golf and dinner tonight. How good does it get!!!!
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies -Team Best Three Scores to count.
We had 65 Starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Rhonda Robertson did a fantastic downhill long putt into the hole on the 9th for a par; Wally Robertson had running pars at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th; Peter Martin sank a long putt on the 2nd; Col Matterson had a birdie; Rosalie Dyer had 4 x 3 pointers and 1 x 4 pointer; Ron Puiatti played well after a two weeks break from golf; Lauren Matterson putted for a birdie at the 18th; Kay Baillie chipped into the hole from the bunker; Garry Baillie had a 4/4 at the 15th;
Andy Hebebury, Jann Henebury and (new member) Chris Fuller all had 4 pointers; Michael Norman missed 3 greens; Warren Gray sank a long putt on the 7th; Pauline Norman had a 3/4 on the 8th; the Incoll's had no arguments; Anne Forrester had a gobbler at the 3rd; Clyde Cruickshanks and Brent Frewin had gobblers on the 9th; Spencer Walklate had a good round; my highlight was having an even round on the front 9, finishing with the same ball I starterd with and finishing with the magic 3 in front of my score.
