The Golf Event of the day was a Men's Single Stableford + Teams Event Split Sixes.

We had 164 starters with 5 visitors from Kooindah Waters, Pacific Dunes, Redcliffe, Shelly Beach, The Springs.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ARTHUR HAVILAND on the birth of his first Great Granddaughter - a baby girl Ivy Rose - healthy 7lb 8 0z.

My appologies for the late notice of the passing of Tony Holmes - a long term member of Gosford Golf Club who passed away last week.  Tony's funeral was held today at St Patrick's Catholic Church at East Gosford.  Our deepest sympathy to Tony's family and my special message of sadness to the family as I worked with Tony for many years from the 1970's to 1993 at Armstrong Goff & Co and Coopers and Lybrand.
