We had 69 starters with 9 visitors from Bush Ranger, Kooindah Waters, Riverside Oaks, Shelly Beach, Terrigal, Wakehurst and Wyong.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Rhonda Robertson had a birdie chip in over the bunker at the 11th - a shot our golf champions would be proud of - causing much noise and applause from the watching players including me; Wally Robertson hit a drive off the 8th that missed Vicki Foster on the Ladies 9th by inches; George Foster and Peter Martin beat the girls for the Keno Ticket however did not manage to achieve the requested birdies during the match; Stu Williams had 4 pointers at the 3rd and 6th and scored a great 42 points; Pauline Norman had a gobbler on the 13th out of the bunker; David Small scored a lovely 41 points with 23 points on the back nine; Tania Walklate scored a nice 36 points; Sheila Williams had a lot of 3 pointers; Garry Baillie had 38 points helped by a lot of 3 pointers; Robin Incoll's highlight was having a family birthday card delivered to her out on the golf course (see photo above); my highlight was enjoying a great day with George and Vicki Foster who are always good company.
