We had a lovely day for golf today with some cloud cover to make it comfortable.
Today we had the ANNUAL MIXED GALA DAY Team Stableford 1 X 2 X 3 Singles 12.30 pm shotgun start.
We had 102 starters with 6 visitors from Kooindah Waters, Morisset, Mount Coolum Qld, PGA, Redland Bay Qld and The Oaks.
Many thanks to our club Director Sheena Asken who put together the GALA DAY Christmas trophies which were keenly contested by all the players.

A big HELLO to Helen Potter's Dad TOM DEVANEY of Hillside Golf Club, England who checks into our blog site every day to see how Helen is doing. It has been all good news the last few weeks Tom. Helen is powering along!
Today the Club Members ran a raffle in aid of our popular Club Professional Tom Ballard which was well supported by the Members. All profits will go towards Tom's professional touring next year and we all wish him the best in his endeavours for 2013.
On a bit of sad note (for me anyway) the Club Bistro is closing Sunday nights due to lack of patronage. That will mean the Sunday night blog will be later than usual as I will be eating out at somewhere else(and never mind the 7.00am F-Troop kick off time on Monday's). Sorry about that!
