HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Fran James had a gobbler 5/3 on the 6th; Denise Barr from Terrigal had 6/3 on the 10th and loved the greens; Annie Brink barely made it off the tee at the 1st and proceeded down the fairway via the trees to finish in the bunker where she chipped in for 5/3; Lynda Hartley scored 5/3 on the 1st via the trees and had 22 points on the front 9; Christine Drakeford almost had a birdie at the 9th; Sheena Asken had 4/3 at the 15th via bunker, bunker, bunker and chip in; Dianne Thomlinson had a birdie at the 14th; Di Beechey had a birdie at the 8th and 22 points on the front 9; Robin Incoll had a birdie at the 14th; Kath Payn parred the 6th and the 7th; Lorraine Bignall had a birdie on the 6th and her group of Carol Farrell and Anne Burke had an interesting game with various degrees of improvement; Shirley Daly had 36 points on her new reduced handicap; Kath Small played steady golf; Mary Beard had a lovely day; Sharon Anderson did not have any wipes; Judy Verlander had 8 pars; Jan Walker had 4/4 on the 9th.
