HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARTHUR!
We had a good fun day on the village green today in spite of the variance in the weather from start to finish. We had all seasons starting with overcast and cool winds, to partly sunny and cool, varying to gusty freezing cold winds and about 10 minutes of rain followed by more blue sky and sunshine with a cool breeze.
Our playing partners were Clyde & Lyn Cruickshanks who were great company and we came within one shot of the winning team on the day - Clyde being our star with two birdies and a very neat 36 points on the day.
The Golf Event of the day was a Team Stableford 1 X 2 X 3 (must be one lady per team) + Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.
We had 81 starters with 7 visitors from Camden Valley, Concord, Everglades, New South Wales & Shelly Beach.
