It was so nice to have a lovely sunny day for golf. The breeze was a bit brisk to start with but the day warmed to a nice pleasant day. The wind was helpful in drying up the course and it was not too bad for the most of it. We are having the coldest winter in years but I could not help but notice the colour in the gardens, especially the camellias at the 14th and the orchids that have been flowering for months.
Our playing partners were Des & Yvonne Wilson and we had a very pleasant day with some good highlights. We finished up all square for the keno ticket which was the boys highlight so it was a hard fought battle.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2 Ball Team Mixed Men and Ladies.
