Golf - Wednesday 6th June 2012

After the deluge of last night it is not surprising that there were insufficient players for a men's competition today.

I understand that there were a few brave players that had a social hit so the course could not have been too bad.

I had an early morning inspection of the new garden at the fence line near the 2nd green.  I was surprised to find it intact with no wash away of mulch or soil onto the path.  Full credit to our F-Troopers who installed some water control features to the garden last Monday and the good work certainly paid off.  Well done F-Troopers.

There was a beautiful double rainbow over the hospital this afternoon (photo attached) and I hope that means that we have some better weather on the way.  The high winds will help to dry out the course and hopefully it will be good tomorrow for the first round Ladies 4BBB Knock Out.
