We had a bonus day at golf today having a very warm humid day that turned into a reasonably pleasant day for a brief period of cloud cover and cooling breeze. The clouds threatened at one stage but did not turn to rain so we were happy to settle for warm & humid rather than wet.
Our playing partners were Jan & Elly Van Den Berg and we had a lovely day out on the village green with some good highlights. The boys beat the girls for the keno ticket but Elly and I claimed that we were good players out of luck.
The Event of the day was a 2 Ball Team + Single Stableford Mixed Men and Ladies.
We had 103 starters with 11 visitors from Beverley Park, Concord, Mangrove Mountain, Massey Park, Shelley Beach, Terrigal & Woolooware.
