It was a lovely day for golf and for the Cruickshank's wedding that was held at our Golf Club wedding garden and later in the Magnolia Room.
The golfing event of the day was the 62nd Legacy Cup and Salver Day which is always keenly contested. The trophies were presented by the representatives from Legacy and the raffle prizes on the day were well worth winning.
Our playing partners today were Des and Yvonne Wilson & we had a great day with Yvonne and Peter having exceptional games scoring 3 pointers at will with Des & I chiming in where we could. Yvonne & I were narrowly beaten on a countback for the mixed ladies two ball so that was an exciting finish however the main highlight being that the boys were never ahead in the keno ticket competition.
The Event of the day day was a Single Stableford + 2 Ball Team and we had 114 starters with 7 visitors from Everglades, Mangrove Mountain, Muree, PGA and Wyong.
