We were a bit shy on workers today for all different kinds of reasons. One being the Gosford girls were representing our club at Pennants today so Robin Incoll, Jan Walker, Di Beechey and Chris Dekker were unavailable for a very good reason.
The F-troopers I saw today were Clyde Cruickshanks, Des Wilson, Bert Brink, Martin Gallagher, Garry Trigg, Warren Gray, Duncan Dyer, Spencer Walklate, George Foster, Peter Martin and Yvonne Wilson. Thirteen in all. My appologies if I have missed anyone.
We managed to get through a big workload. Warren Gary & Garry Trigg on the rough cutters, George Foster on the tractor, Des Wilson & Bert Brink on the drainage, Martin Gallagher, Duncan Dyer, Spencer Walklate clearing out the dams, Yvonne Wilson garden work on the 14th 15th & trimming. Clyde Cruickshanks, Peter Martin & Spencer Walklate working on the new path at the practice net garden.
The new garden at the practice nets is starting to take shape with the new path being formed today. This will take a few weeks to complete. We are looking for garden seats to put in this garden. Anyone who has an old garden seat at home that they would like to dispose of we would happily take it off your hands. We are also looking for manure to enhance the soil prior to planting out the gardens. Anyone who has access to any garden manure (horse, cow or fowl) preferably for zero cost please let me know as the soil needs to be rejuvenated and the garden area is quite large.
Many thanks to our workers today. A job well done!
