We had a chilly start this morning for our first start back after the long weekend.

We had 10 volunteers and we managed to get a lot of work done today.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish removal around the course, tree maintenance and firewood preparation, mulching of garden at the 8th tee, more work done on the Ladies Garden at the 2nd tee including installing two new tyre gardens.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Ladies Pennants Results - Monday 17th June 2024

 

Gosford played Toukley at Gosford today.

RESULTS:

7 1/2 to 2 1/2 win to Gosford.

After so many wet weather cancellations it was nice to be able to play today and the course was in reasonable condition considering the rain over the weekend.

The Toukley players fought hard but it is never easy playing a club on their home turf.

Thank you all for providing morning tea.

Encourage Shield Results - Sunday 16th June 2024

Gosford played Toukley in round one of the encourage shield at Kooindah Waters. A great win to Gosford 3 and 1/2 to 2 and 1/2. Special mention to Peter Hoogendan playing his first match for Gosford. He had to square the last hole for Gosford to win which he did. Congratulations to all

We had 28 starters with 3 visitors from Toukley, Wollongong and Cromer.

 The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford - Monthly Medal.

Carts were not allowed on the course and all bunkers were GUR except for RH side Bunker on hole 18.

We had 48 starters with 4 visitors from Breakers and Warringah.
