 We escaped any rain today but there were still no carts on while the course is still drying out.

There will be no carts on again tomorrow.

The Golf Event of the day was a Men’s Single Stableford.

We had 90 starters with 1 visitor from Kooindah Waters.

Golf - Tuesday 5th April 2022

 We enjoyed some lovely sunshine today but the course was still wet and no carts allowed.

There are no carts allowed on tomorrow either to allow the course time to recover.

The renovations were done so todays competition was Ladies playing the same 9 twice.

The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford.

We had 41 starters.

Ladies Pennants Results - Monday 4th April 2022

 Gosford Wattle Team won at Magenta today with a 4/3 win.

F-Troop - Monday 4th April 2022

 

F- Troop morning tea - Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Sam Knox, Nigel Asken,  Di Beechey, Peter Martin, Adrian Burke, Duncan Dyer, Rob Benson (Jan Martin).

We had four of our regulars away with week and still had 10 volunteers to work on our projects even though we were still restricted with our movements on the course because of the wet state of the course.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Nigel Asken, Adrian Burke, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were firewood preparation, loose timber pick up around the course (on foot), removal of weed from the dams (on foot), mulching at the BBQ area, removal of weeds from the gardens at the front of the clubhouse, 10th Mens tee garden, around the hedges at the old putting green.

It was great to see some sunshine on the job.

We enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.

Golf - Monday 4th April 2022

 There was no competition golf today due to the start of the course maintenance and the wet condition of the course there were no carts allowed on the course.

There was social play only.

 No carts will be allowed on the course tomorrow.

Thankfully we had some good sunshine today and good weather is forecast for tomorrow.

 Sunshine and some wind at last - hopefully it will help get our course dried out enough.

The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Single Stableford - No carts allowed.

We had 40 starters with 4 visitors from Kooindah Waters, Barnwell and Breakers.
