We had a lot of missing in action today for various reasons. There was plenty of work to be done with previous cut down trees to be chainsawed, picking up falling branches and loose timber after all of the recent high winds, not to mention the thriving weeds in the gardens.
Projects worked on today was chain sawing of timber for firewood supplies, loading and delivering of firewood, loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, hedge maintenance, more work done in reducing the size of the climbing vine at the 10th tee, emptying of garden rubbish bins, tidy up of gardens at the front of the clubhouse, mulch to the hedge garden at the 10th tee; tidy up of garden at the practice nets and poisoning the weeds in the path; a start made on tidying the gardens at the chipping green.
By morning tea the weather became pleasant after a chilly start, we enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.
