Garden at the 6th tee - a start made on trimming and weeding.
We had 11 volunteers this morning to work on our many projects. It was a busy course with a Vets competition.
We also had the arborists attending to tree maintenance with the help of F-Troopers Sam Knox and Duncan Dyer.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Lyn Bates, Laurelle Freeman, Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance; Loose timber and rubbish clean up around the course; firewood preparation; Firewood delivery; maintenance to the delivery Ute; water hoses to the 2nd tee garden; tidy up, fertiliser and water to the 2nd tee ladies garden; cleaning of the bush toilets and watering the gardens; a start made on the weeding and trimming of shrubs at the 6th native garden.
Morning tea of fresh sandwiches was really appreciated after a hard morning’s work.
