Garden at the 2nd Green weeded and ready for mulch
And rubbish to the dump
We had a very chilly start to our morning but thankfully it warmed up to a very nice sunny morning.
We had eleven volunteers this morning including a new member Phillip Chadwick who we welcomed and Trevor Harrison who has returned from holidays.
On hand were Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Dave Scifleet, Phillip Chadwick, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were Loose Timber and Rubbish pick up around the course, tree maintenance, firewood delivery, firewood preparation, Clean up of paths under the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, practice greens and practice nets, delivery of mulch to the 5th and 6th gardens, weeding of the garden at the 2nd green ready for mulching, pick up of weeds and shrub cuttings from the 5th tee, garden rubbish to the dump.
Morning tea in the warm sunshine with welcoming fresh sandwiches was very enjoyable.
