The course was busy today with vets players, a medley comp and social play.
The weather was hot - reaching into the 30’s today and morning tea was very welcome.
We had 11 volunteers today which was a great help and we welcomed Bev Way back to F-Troop to help out in the gardens.
On hand were Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Bev Way and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today was tree maintenance, hedge maintenance, tidy up of the paths in the BBQ area, front of clubhouse and paths down to the 1st and 10th tees, rubbish and loose timber pickup around the course, tidy up of 10th tee garden, tidy up and watering of the 18th tee garden, cleaning of the bush toilets, maintenance to the 6th tranquility garden and the 6th native garden.
We searched for a shady area to enjoy our morning tea of fresh sandwiches as the day had warmed up considerably.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
