After the new Board was presented there was some lively discussions with 90 members attending the meeting.
The main item on the agenda was the proposed change to the constitution regarding the suspension of members from the club. The proposed changes are to allow accused Members the right of reply before the Members suspension is put in place.
The change in the constitution will be done over the next three months allowing for time for the legal procedure to take place to ensure the change is done correctly according to law.
After the close of the Meeting discussions were held regarding the proposed update of the course and how the Directors were planning to fund the change. Michael Crookes gave the Members a good presentation of the proposed changes which (after discussions with the developers) will be put to the Members for approval. The proposed changes in the course are detailed in the photo above. The other changes (ie the clubhouse) will be discussed at a later date when things become clearer about where the club is headed.
It was very pleasing to see 90 concerned Members attending the Club tonight to show their interest about where the club was heading.
