Planted at the 14th Greenspace garden.
On hand were Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Les Wielinga, Rob Benson, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance, loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, hedge maintenance, clean up of tees, tidy up around the club house, 1st and 10th tees, watering of gardens, weeding of gardens, cleaning of the bush toilets, planting and fertilising donated orchid plants, watering 14th greenspace garden, tidy up of 6th tranquility garden, weeding and trimming at the 6th native garden,
Weeding of the 15th tee garden, watering 9th ladies tee garden.
The boys enjoyed using their new toys today - a garden blower to clean up the tees and a new pole tree saw which they used for tree maintenance - filling seven trailer loads of offcuts.
We had a hard mornings work and enjoyed morning tea and a good rest afterwards.
