After golf compensation when we were feeling low!
Hello from Hawks Nest!
We had a great day eventually at Hawks Nest when the rain and wind stopped. Our champions today were Mark Stimpson & Alice Diamond who were the winners of the Team Event plus Alice won the Ladies Singles and Ross Drakeford was 4th place in A Grade
We had some good winners in the ball competition and nearest the pins.
Our playing partners today were Dick and Joyce Bosley who were great company - Joyce was very impressive finishing 18 holes, and as much as I hate to admit it - Joyce outdrove me on 3 holes - this was compensated by me outdriving Peter on a Par 3 hole.
Meanwhile at Gosford I understand we had 12 volunteers attending to remove weeds from our fairways.
