The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2 Ball Team Mixed Men and Ladies.
We had 54 starters with 3 visitors from Hurstville and Rosnay.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Andrew Cameron had a hole-in-one at the 5th hole; in the Robertson/Martin group the girls beat the boys for the Keno Ticket and Wal Robertson was driving off the tee like a demon with some monster drives of great distinction; Neville Walker had four 3 pointers and two 4 pointers; Stuart Town had birdies on the 2nd, 7th and 18th; Fran James had a birdie on the 6th; Lyn Cruickshanks had 4/4 on the 9th; Owen James had 4/4 on the 17th and 4/4 on the 9th; Clyde Cruickshanks cruised in for 35 points; Cheryl Davison chipped in out of the bunker on the 16th for 4/3; Grahame Muller had a lot of 3 pointers in his 41 points; John Slight turned with 24 points; Steve. cross had 6 foot putt for a birdie on the 14th; Annette Cross had six pars; Kay Frewin enjoyed good company and 34 points; Brian Robertson enjoyed his first competition game of golf coming in with 42 points; Terry Connor had a steady game for his 37 points; Kevin O'Brien after his drive on the 7th was 70 metres from the green; Rosalie Dyer had 4/4 birdie on the 11th; Lorraine Bignall was on the 16th green for two; my highlight was finishing with the same ball I started with.
