We had a great day at F-Troop and with thirteen volunteers we achieved a lot.

On hand were Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Mick Seabrook, Kevin O'Brien, Rob Benson, Warren Gray, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

The big project of the day was the laying of two concrete slabs at the BBQ area. One of our members, Mick Seabrook, took on the task of laying the concrete with the help of Trevor Harrison who was his able assistant for the mornings work and was later assisted by Kevin O'Brien. This area will be so much improved with the new concrete slabs in place as the BBQ area is a frequently used spot.

Don Nicholls and Peter Martin filled in some pot holes with gravel at the club entry road, did some repair work to the gate of the air conditioning plant and did some extra draining at the BBQ area as well as collecting rubbish from the drain at the back of the clubhouse.

The Tree Gang of Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Kevin O'Brien and Garry Trigg took care of some undercutting along the 9th fairway.

Rob Benson and Warren Gray were in charge of rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course.

Di Beechey and Anne Burgess tidied up the BBQ area, the car parks and cleaned out the drain at the back of the clubhouse as well as weeding in the front gardens.

I worked at the 14th Bush Toilet area, tidying up and planting in some more donated agapanthus, weeded and trimmed at the 2nd green fence garden and planted in a couple of orange pig face plants, tidied up the 6th tranquility garden, tidied the Ladies 3rd tee, cleaned up the front street garden on the school side and dead headed the streletzias, tidied up at the 1st tee including around the water feature, watered the pots in the Wedding Gazebo, trimmed the lantana along the front car park garden and cleaned up the car park there, trimmed the geraniums in the wedding garden.

We really appreciated our morning tea this morning after a hard mornings work. Thank you Barto!

The work continued after morning tea with the pouring of the concrete slabs and concreting in the gate post at the air conditioning plant.

Our thanks and appreciation the those Members whose donations made it possible for us to be able to lay the two concrete slabs at the BBQ area. We hope you all enjoy the improvement.

YES!  WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
