What an enjoyable night we had in the Magnolia Room for the Mexican Night. It was fantastic to see so many supporting Members there. In the Sunset Room there was a Trivia night supported by 100 people so the club was humming. I understand that the kitchen served 198 meals.
The Mexican Menu was great with varied choices at a reasonable price. The meat raffles went well and the all important HARVEY WORLD TRAVEL VOUCHER FOR $1,000 was drawn.
Louise Stimpson was drawing the tickets (winner had to be present at the club at the time of the draw) and the lucky winner was ANNE STIMPSON (her mother) - a very deserving winner and a great club supporter. Well done Anne!
Mark Stimpson also won the $50 monthly draw from the meat raffles so the Stimpson Family had a wonderful night.
For those of you not aware of the Members freebies available by swiping your Membership card each time you come into the club gives you a great chance at some good bargains. Just ask the staff for instructions if you are not sure of the procedure. The freebies vary between free drinks, free meal, $10 towards golf lesson, $10 worth of free tickets in the Friday Night meat raffles as well as specials from time to time like the Harvey World Travel Voucher. It is certainly worth your while to swipe your card each time you come into the clubhouse and be a good club supporter.
