For those of you that missed the excitement of the two Helicopters arriving and leaving the Gosford Golf Course today I have added two videos so that you do not feel left out.
We had a large garden wedding followed by a reception in the Sunset Room and apart from the wind it was a beautiful day. The helicopters had to be upgraded to stronger machines to combat the wind factor today. One helicopter was early and the other one was late because they were combating bush fires at the same time. Multi talented helicopters you might say. The Bridal party arrived safely!
Talking about multi talented - our Pro Shop Staff staff stepped up to the mark today - helping with the wedding garden preparation and the carts for the Wedding Party. Well done Scott & crew! (I loved the "Big Hat" cart!

I did not hear about any highlights today but there was one event that was reported that is newsworthy although not a highlight - well, not for Graeme anyway:
Graeme Wright hit his drive on the second out of bounds over the school fence. Graeme (being Graeme) decided he was going to retrieve his ball. His playing partners warned him that having got over the fence he would need to get back out. "I will work that out later after I find my ball" says Graeme. Having no regard to his nice red shirt and pure white pants he scaled the fence with the aid of the cart and tree branch and landed on top of his ball injuring his ankle. Doc had no sympathy and said he could not give him medical aid from the other side of the fence and he was not prepared to climb over. Multi Talented Scott Cubis once again came to the rescue by cutting a hole in the fence to get Graeme out. Peter Davis went to Graeme's aid once the hole was in the fence but Graeme could not move straight away - Peter wandered around the paddock and found 30 golf balls while he was waiting for Graeme to recover. Sorry about your ankle Graeme!
