We had a perfect day on a perfect Golf Course to make our golf enjoyable today.
My playing partners were Pam Witt and Eris Brown (Shelly Beach) and we had some fun on the village green. Our highlights were enjoying our par holes, the sunshine and the company.
The Golf Event of the day was the Gosford Bowl. Bronze Salver and Long Markers Trophy Stroke Match over 18 holes.
We had 73 starters with 15 visitors from Mangrove Mountain, Shelly Beach & Wyong.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Susan Bourne played a nice steady game; Sharon Anderson had 3 pars on the back 9;Glennis English had some good saving putts; Sheena Asken had birdies on the 5th, 8th and 11th; Kath Payn played nice golf; Anne Forrester parred the 5th; Elly Van Den Berg parred the 14th and won nearest the pin; Fay Bailey has improved out of sight with a lovely 91 off the stick; Wendy Stapleton had a gobbler chip in on the 12th for a par after being in the back hazzard hitting off a stump; Robyn Johnston sank some long putts and had two gobblers; Alice Collett had a nice day and 3 pars; Carolyn Buttsworth forgot to turn her buggy off at the 12th and it finished up in the bunker(better than the creek); Pam Witt and Eris Brown (Shelly Beach) and myself had highlights with our par holes
