Golf - Friday 18th January 2013

As I write this report the outside temperature is reading 44.3 degrees which is far too hot to be out on a golf course.  We did have some keen golfers who braved the heat and came in with some great scores hopefully playing early before the afternoon heat hit.

The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.

We had 71 starters with 15 visitors from Charlestown, Everglades, Kooindah Waters, Pennant Hills, Shelly Beach, Tamworth & Wyong.

MEN'S SINGLES RESULTS:

WINNER:  Chris Swan (Shelly Beach) - 45 points

RUNNER UP: Solomon Towson - 42 points

3RD:  Ryan Morgan - 41 points on a oountback

4TH:  Cameron Morgan - 41 points on a countback

WOMEN'S SINGLES RESULTS:

WINNER:  Leonie Wheeler (Everglades) - 40 points
