What an unfortunate day for F-Troopers and our Vets Golfers.
The heavens opened overnight (big time) giving us flash flooding across the coast and the golf course was no exception. Early this morning the 18th and across the 11th was covered in water like a big lake and the 5th
fairway hardly existed. I traveled past later in the day after a lot of the water would have drained away and there was still a huge amount of water right across to the creek which had swollen with the high tide.
This kind of weather is financially crippling.
We were due to have 170 odd vet players on the course today and it was unfortunate that the course had to be closed.
F-Troop was put on hold for obvious reasons and all our volunteers had a day off.

DURING THE PERIOD THURSDAY 22ND DECEMBER 2011 TILL MONDAY 2ND JANUARY 2012 COMPETITION TIME SHEETS ON WEDNESDAYS AND SATURDAYS WILL BE MODIFIED TO 6.30 AM T0 10.00AM (one tee only). ALL OTHER TIMES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SOCIAL PLAY.
