The F- Troopers did a sensational job today working through the heat and achieving a lot of good work.
Today we had a good roll up of helpers - those that I spotted were Warren Gray, Martin Gallagher, Duncan Dyer, Spencer Walklate, Neil Hancock, Doug Incoll, Ray Presdee, Mark Stimpson, Des Wilson, Peter Martin, George Foster, Garry trigg, Di Beechey and Anne Burgess.
I may have missed someone today as I was working out in the back blocks and missed most of the action. Thanks to Martin Gallagher for his photo contributions to the blog.
The boys, with the help of the groundstaff, cleared out a lot of the old dead trees clogging up the dams and did a super job of removing ironbark stumps that were blocking the drain behind the 12th dam.
Peter Martin & Mark Stimpson together with the groundstaff prepared the walking path on the 18th for a concrete pour to finish off the long awaited path.
Other work done included rough mowing (Garry & George), planting out some yesterday, today & tomorrow plants on the 6th, weeding and pruning on the 6th, planting out some ponytail palms on the 15th, raking at the 13th.
Di Beechey & Anne Burgess were seen hard at work at the BBQ area keeping it in pristine condition - Thanks Anne & Di. You are doing a champion job of that area.
