Wins to Dave Hemming, Mark Faulkner

Kelvin Price and Garry Fitch. Halves to Mark Stimpson and Paul Edwards. Mark is claiming a victory as he was one up when the match was called off at the 17th.

Great win for the boys. The next match will be against Monash on a date and course to be advised.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR SUPER SENIORS WHO REPRESENTED GOSFORD GOLF CLUB THIS YEAR.

We were doing it hard this week when the designated game was to be played at the  same time as Doug Incoll’s funeral which put some of our players between a rock and a hard place.

We did came home with a victory which I am sure Doug would have been very proud of.

Golf - Monday 12th September 2022

 The Golf Event of the day was an Ambrose Competition.

Doug Incoll’s Celebration of life - held today Monday 12th September 2022

 We had a huge representation from Gosford Golf Club and closely related people to celebrate Doug’s celebration of life at the Greenway Chapel at Green Point and afterwards at the Elanora Hotel.

It was great to see so many people attending to pay their respects to Doug and there were many happy funny stories to be told about Doug and his endearing personality that we all loved.

F-Troop Monday 12th September 2022.

We had a beautiful weather day for our projects today and we were able to get our heavy vehicles out on the course.

We had seven volunteers today to allow us to get some projects done.

On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Paul Smith, Steve Robinson, Peter Martin, John Hollebon and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on were Loose Timber and Rubbish pick up around the course, Hedge Maintenance, garden maintenance at the 12th green gardens,  blowing of the paths in front of the Clubhouse and 1st and 10th tees, painting of the doors at the 14th bush toilets, cleaning of the bush toilets at the 14th bush toilets in preparation of the Ladies Day tomorrow including fresh flowers from our Golf Club Gardens, fresh flowers to the 6th tranquility garden. 

We enjoyed some fresh sandwiches for morning tea in the sunshine in front of the18th green because the normal lawn garden was out of action because the front gardens were being removed by the ground staff for future projects by the Board and Greens Committee.
