F-Troop Morning Tea - Steve Robinson, Peter Martin, Rob Benson, Kevin O’Brien Jan Martin, Don Nicholls, Duncan Dyer, John Hollebon (Ron Gowing).
It was a big day for F-Troopers today with a lot of loose timber down on the course brought down by the high winds.
On hand we had 9 keen starters - Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing and Jan Martin.
Trimming of the hedges was a big challenge today and the troopers did a great job on that. Picking up loose timber and rubbish around the course was another major job. More firewood preparation and clean up of paths at the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees and Wedding Garden area. Cleaning and tidy up at the 14th bush toilets, watering gardens there, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden, watering pots at the 6th, bike garden and 9th Ladies tee, maintenance in the clubhouse.
We were lucky to get it all finished before the hot weather hit. Morning tea was appreciated after a good mornings work.
