We had a lovely weather day for our rest day at Merimbula.

We had a leisurely morning catching up with laundry and bargain shopping, lunch at the waterfront and then an afternoon at the movies watching “The Bee Keeper”. Good action movie that makes Arnold Swartznegger and Bruce Willis look like wimps. The photography was brillant and the storyline unlikely. We had our usual 4.30 happy hour followed by dinner at the local RSL. Tomorrow the golf is on again at Merimbula.

Hello from beautiful Merimbula.  

We had a round of golf at Merimbula today - thankfully we were spared from any rain. The course was in great condition with fantastic fairways and greens and gardens that were well maintained. 

We all enjoyed our day and did the best we could on long 4 and 5 pars. It was a good course and very playable.

Our Champion over the last 3 days was Bruce Binns who played very well over the 3 days of competition and I very proudly won the wooden spoon which is a magnificent trophy that I get to keep for a whole year.

Tomorrow we have a rest day to have some R & R.

What a lovely place. It was our rest day from golf today so we all did our own thing for the day. We had a restful morning and then had a tour to Eden to see the town and attractions after checking out Merimbula shops and shoe specials.

Hello from beautiful Merimbula. We enjoyed another great weather day of golf at Eden Golf Club today. Bruce and Leeanne Binns were our Champions today. We have been lucky enough to have had perfect weather with no humidity which was very appreciated. My golf was okay for the first 9 and then the wheels fell off. A great course which had some challenging places but not unplayable.
