The Late David Frazer

As many of you already heard, Dave Frazer lost his battle against cancer on 6th June 2020. As there are still social distancing restrictions in place, his funeral and wake are by invitation only.

A showery day kept our numbers down however there were some brave players who faced the elements.

F-Troop - Monday 8th June 2020

F-Troop Morning Tea - Rob Benson, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Don Nicholls, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Ray Turner, Duncan Dyer (Jan Martin)

Drain at the 6th cleaned out

Given it was a Public Holiday we had a good turn up of volunteers including Ray Turner who had his first day of experience with the troopers.

On hand we had 10 volunteers including Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Ray Turner, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, John Hollebon and Jan Martin.

A big welcome to Ray Turner today on his first day at F-Troop.

Projects worked on today were Loose Timber and rubbish pick up around the course, tree maintenance, clean up underneath the clubhouse, paths around the 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, garden maintenance at the 8th and 10th tees, 14th green space garden and 6th tranquility garden, cleaning the bush toilets, cleaning  out the drain at the 6th, delivery of firewood.

We were back in our sunny social spot for morning tea which we all appreciated after a hard mornings work.

Golf - Monday 8th June 2020

Today was the first day that the Clubhouse has been opened after the Corona Virus restrictions came into place. The Clubhouse will be open from 10.00am until 6.00pm seven days a week.

The booking arrangements for golf competitions has reverted to the old system where you can attend the club at 5.00pm to get early access to prior to it opening on line at 6.00pm.
