We had a nice cool but fine day for our F-Troop Projects today. On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Steve Hogg, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Having a couple of months off has led to a build up of projects after a period of neglect. If anyone is thinking of donating some time to help with our projects - now would be a good time as there is a lot out there to be done.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, tree maintenance, firewood delivery, garden maintenance at the 12th green, clean up of the car park, underneath the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, weeding and cleaning out of gardens at the 1st and 10th tees, cleaning of the bush toilets, weeding of the greenspace gardens at the 14th, treatment of infected Mandevillias on the 6th and 9th ladies tee and watering the pots at the 6th tranquility garden.
Being a fine day we could have our morning tea in the comfort of the wood heap especially set up for social distancing.
