Spring at last !!

After the heavy rain of last Friday and Saturday the course was still soft so we were a bit restricted where we could take heavy machinery.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Andy Henebury, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were tree maintenance, loose timber and rubbish pickup around the course, maintenance to the rock wall at the 10th tee and the Wedding Garden, cleaning of the Bush Toilets, fertiliser and the gardens at the first and 10th tees, tidy up around the clubhouse areas, fertiliser to the roses at the putting green and Wedding Garden, mulching gardens at the 14th bush toilets, weeding of the greenspace garden, maintenance 6th tranquility garden, planting in of donated plants by Andy Henebury, review of clubhouse maintenance.

Michael Crookes donated his time for the removal of crabgrass around the course. 

Morning tea was enjoyed by all after a hard morning’s work.
