We had 28 starters.

The scheduled Championships were postponed until the following two weekends 13/14/20/21st October 2018

FINAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE MEN'S 2018 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Rain Delay

Due to the recent inclement weather a decision was made to postpone the Men's Club championships until Saturday 13th October. The match committee have decided to run this years championships now over the next two weekends. Therefore the format for the champs will be as below: Round 1 - Saturday 13th October  Round 2 - Sunday 14th October  Round 3 - Saturday 20th October  Round 4 - Sunday 21st October  A daily single stableford competition will run in conjunction with the club championships for anyone wishing to play comp of the day. Competitors in the championships are eligible to win both competitions.  Please book onto the time sheets as normal to play in all 4 rounds. The KIOSK and online access will open as normal. If you are playing in the Sunday mixed comp, you will have to book on the 10th tee AFTER 10:39AM - access will be restricted for any other time to Club Championship players. The match committee will seed the final rounds last 16 players after close of play on round 3 (Saturday 20th October). Tee times for the final round for these competitors are therefore subject to change. We appreciate everyone's understanding in the change to the fixtures book. UPDATE REGARDING MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

Due to the current wet weather tomorrow's scheduled first round has been cancelled.

First Round will be held next Saturday 13th October.

The rest of the rounds will be announced in due course and I will confirm the dates as soon as they come to hand.

F-Troop - Monday 1st October 2018

F-Troop - Morning Tea - Kevin O'Brien, Duncan Dyer, Peter Martin, Garry Trigg,

Orchids happily growing at the 14th Greenspace Gardens.

New garden display at the 1st Tee - Mother-in-Law plants donated and planted by F-Trooper Ron Gowing.

Garden at the 1st Tee rejuvenated with fertilizer and mulch

How good are our F-Troopers - Public Holiday, perfect weather for relaxing with the family or playing golf, but our F-Troopers were up for the jobs on hand.  Public Holidays do not weary us or the years of early morning starts.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Terry Coyle, Garry Trigg, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were completion of the roofing on the new cart shed, cleanup around the clubhouse and car park, watering of the gardens including seasol treatment, maintenance of the hedges, a new garden planted at the 1st tee, mulching and fertilizing of the gardens at the 1st and 1st tee including replacement of the tibouchina jazz plant, painting of the floor in the Wedding Gazebo, watering of the pots in the 6th tranquility garden, bike garden and Ladies 9th Tee garden including fertilizing of the plants and weeding of the 6th tranquility garden, watering the pots in the Wedding Garden, fertilizing the 13th Ladies Garden and weeding around the edge of the dam.

Morning Tea was enjoyed by all after a good morning's work.
