We were lucky to have a lovely summer day for golf today after the late storm of yesterday.
Our playing partners were Ray and Carolyn Buttsworth who were great company. Our highlights were some great shots to the greens, the best of which was a Birdie from Peter on the 16th hole. the girls showed improvement on the back nine with Carolyn starring with 19 points.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2Ball Aggregate.
We had 70 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Peter Martin had a birdie on the 16th; Carolyn Buttsworth had 19 points on the back nine having great shots to the pin on the 10th and the 17th; Ray Buutsworth had good shots to the green; Neville Walker had a birdie at the 16th; Jan Walker had 4/4 on the 3rd; Tony Davies had a birdie on the 10th; Kevin O'Brien played well for his 39 points; Robbie Whyte dropped a ball in the hole from 80 metres on the 4th for a birdie gobbler; Eddie Rogers out drove Robbie Whyte on the 6th; Brett Margin and Wally Robinson beat the girls for the Keno Ticket; Brett Margin had birdies on the 13th and 14th hole; David Hopkins had 7 birdies and finished with 1 under of the stick; Duncan Dyer had a 4 pointer; Ian Hartley had a 4 pointer at the 3rd; David Small had a 4 pointer at the 5th; Kath Small had 5x 3 pointers; Brent Frewin had one birdie in his 41 points;
My highlight was my golfing partners who kept me awake and I did manage to fluke one 3 pointer.
