HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: after a long evening and morning of baby sitting and a long afternoon sheltering from the cold weather at the Woy Woy Hotel I did not have enough energy to make my way around the tables tonight to collect the highlights however I did hear that George Foster had an amazing birdie at the 3rd hole with a 130 metre chip into the hole - well done George! My highlight was knowing that little Darcy Janice has settled in nicely at North Gosford Hospital for the rest of her transition to prepare her for home life and is doing very well.

A wildly windy day for outdoor weddings but at least there was plenty of sunshine.

The golfers came in with good scores so the wind did not worry them too much.

The Golf Event of the day was a Men's Single Stableford + 2 Ball Aggregate.

Mike Hogan, Scott Cubis and Kerry Cubis self confessed idiots who went out to play in the rain today!

It was not surprising to find that the other 187 members and guests were not fronting for golf today! We had a lot of rain overnight and the rain continued all day. 

The course was not closed and we had three diehards who were prepared to face the elements. Did they have fun? Hmmmm!

We look forward to improved weather and more golf to come!

My highlight was visiting my newest granddaughter Darcy at Royal North Shore Hospital -  now 3 days old and doing well for a very early premature baby. She is too small for cuddles yet but I am waiting in the queue.
