The course was busy with Vets players today but we still managed to get some good work done.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, John Hollebon, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin. 

Projects worked on today were firewood preparation, loading and delivery; loose timber and rubbish removal from the course; hedge maintenance ; tidy up of the BBQ garden; tidy up of gardens at the 18th, 2nd and 3rd ladies ; Tidy up of 14th bush toilet gardens; tidy up of 6th tranquility garden; a start made on the Men’s 3rd tee garden weeding. 

We appreciated morning tea of fresh sandwiches and wraps after a hard mornings work.

We had 11 volunteers this morning to help with our projects which was good for school holiday time. The course was busy with visiting Ladies District Competition + Medley Stableford + Social players.

On Hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, John Hollebon, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin plus some good help from Bev Way who was there to help out with the Ladies District Day. 

Projects worked on today were tree maintenance; loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; firewood loading and delivery; new entry area created at the 18th grass garden; hedge maintenance; tidy up and watering garden at the 2nd Ladies tee; weeding and tidying the 18th grass garden; cleaning and tidying up at the 14th bush toilets; trimming of the Tibouchina shrubs at the 1st and 10th tees; weeding and raking up loose timber at the 1st and 10th tee gardens. 

We thank the District Ladies for their contribution to our morning tea with cakes and slices in addition to our normal fresh sandwiches which are always appreciated.

The course was very wet today after the overnight rain. Carts were allowed on for Members only.

We had 12 volunteers this morning to help with our projects. 

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Ray Cheal, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Frank Potter, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin. 

Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course ( 3 very full Ute loads); wood preparation; wood delivery; mulch out to the gardens at the 6th, 14th bush toilet gardens and the 18th grass garden; maintenance and garden design to the 18th grass garden including raking up the tee and path areas; cleaning of the bush toilets including loose timber pick up; loose timber pick up at the 7th tee garden; weeding, raking and mulching of the 6th tranquility garden. 

We had a very hard mornings work cleaning up after the high winds and rain (10 mls overnight)

We enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches in the very welcome sunshine.

Trees down on the right hand side of the 1st Tee and moved off the fairways 

 Dangerous leaning tree at the front street

Trees down on the course after wild winds. 

The Course was closed until 10  o’clock until the trees could be safely moved over and then was reopened but no carts allowed on.

Large trees were down on the 1st and also on the 15th.
