We had a cooler day to work today which we appreciated. 

We had 12 volunteers today which was very helpful for getting projects done.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Bev Way, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates, Laurelle Freeman and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today was tree maintenance; Loose Timber and rubbish pick up around the course; mowing the grass at Camellia Way at the 17th to 18th pathway; Tidy up of the 18th tee gardens; tidy up of the 2nd Ladies Garden and watering the gardens there; tidy up of the garden at the 3rd tee including cleaning of the steps; tidying gardens at the 5th tee; weeding the garden at the 8th tee; cleaning the bush toilets at the 14th including raking paths and tidying gardens; weeding the garden at the practice nets; tidy up of garden at the front street entrance.

We all gave 110% effort today so we appreciated our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.

We had a great day at Emerald Downs today enjoying great sunny weather and a nice breeze to cool us down a bit. After our wash out yesterday we enjoyed a dry course today on a beautiful course. 

It was an important competition for our group today with the Pitbulls (boys) vs the Poodles (girls).

It was a close competition, however the Pitbulls won by one point.

We had an eventful day at Emerald Downs at Port Macquarie. The weather was most unkind. Our first hole was okay but then the rain set in and by the 9th hole we were drenched so we called a halt to the day because it was not going to get any better.

This day was our main competition day so we had a good presentation later at our motel happy hour.

Golf at Kew Country Club today and once again we managed to get in 18 holes before the first sprinkles of rain starting after we had packed away our golf gear. 

I have no bragging rights today but we did have a good day on the course with some good highlights thrown in. The course has raised greens which are difficult to chip to and the greens are tricky. Once again I did finish with the same ball I started with.

Hello from beautiful North Haven. 

We escaped the rain today and were able to play our game at Wauchope.

 The course was challenging, long with raised tees and some water hazards. It was a good day and we enjoyed the day albeit difficult. My highlight of the day was getting two gobbler chip ins and finishing with the same ball I started with. We had good company and were happy that we beat the storms.
