F-Troop Morning Tea - Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Mick Grant, Carolyn Buttsworth, Jan Martin, Kevin O’Brien, Duncan Dyer (Lyn Bates, David Medcalf)
The course was very busy today with the Vets having a shotgun start.
We managed to get a lot of work done on the course picking up Ute loads of sticks, fallen branches and bark shredding.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Mick Grant, Peter Martin, David Medcalf, Lyn Bates, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today was cutting up and removing large fallen branches on the 6th and the 14th; pick up of loose timber and rubbish from the course and gardens - eleven Ute loads were removed today; tidy up and watering of the ladies garden at the 2nd tee; cleaning of the 14th bush toilets including repair of the hand towel dispenser; raking the paths and picking up loose timber in the gardens and surrounds; tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden; tidy up of the loose timber and bark shredding from the gardens at the 1st and 10th tees; tidy up of gardens at the front of the clubhouse.
We certainly earned our morning tea of fresh sandwiches today because everyone put in 110% effort today.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
