Thankfully the temperature dropped down to something comfortable that we could work in.
We were very busy catching up with our projects today and I was slack in not getting any photos.
On hand we had 10 Volunteers which was very helpful as we have got plenty of work out on the course to do.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Bev Way and Jan Martin.
I had a problem again with my yellow cart, however all was resolved with maintenance to the spark plug and YES the yellow cart lives on.
Projects worked on today were Loose timber and rubbish pickup around the course, cutting back the grass gardens on the 15th and 17th, Hedge maintenance, more creative gardening at the 1st and 10th tees, Path edges whipper snipped at the 7th/8th path and path cleaned up, tidy up underneath the clubhouse, BBQ garden area, 1st and 10th tees and Practice Nets, clean up of the 17th to 18th path, watering and tidy up of the 18th garden, watering of the BBQ garden plus maintenance to the water feature, watering gardens at the Ladies 9th tee and the bike garden at the 3rd fairway, cleaning of the steps at the Ladies 3rd tee, tidy up of garden at the Ladies 3rd tee, a start made on the weeding of the 6th Native Garden, firewood delivery.
