6th Tranquility Garden tidied and flowers added for the Ladies Open Day tomorrow
We had 13 volunteers this morning which was a great help with our projects.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Ray Cheal, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, John Hollebon, Leeanne Binns, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance; wood loading and delivery; loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; weeding, mulching and redesigning the 18th tee grass garden including planting in of new Kangaroo Paw plants by F- Troopers Lyn Bates and John Hollebon; mulching of gardens at the 7th and 18th by F-Trooper Leeanne Binns; painting of the bush toilet doors by Steve Turner; cleaning and tidy up of 14th Bush Toilets; flowers to the 14th Bush Toilets and 6th Tranquility garden; Tidy up of the 6thTranquility Garden.
We enjoyed morning tea of fresh sandwiches in the sunshine this morning.
Everything is in place for the Ladies Open Day tomorrow however the forecast does not look good.

It was with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Noel Annand today - a past member of Gosford Golf Club who will be remembered by a lot of our members.
The funeral will be possibly week after next.

The course was busy with Vets players today.
Projects worked on today were Loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, tree maintenance, firewood loading and delivery, hedge and path maintenance, clean up of rubbish at the back of the clubhouse, tidy up and watering of the Ladies Garden at the 2nd Tee, tidy up of garden at the 2nd Green pathway gardens, tidy up and raking paths at the 14th Bush toilets, weeding and partly mulching the garden at the 7th tee, a start made on weeding of the 6th tranquility garden.
Big congratulations to Steve Turner for volunteering his time to do such an excellent job of painting the bush toilets at the 14th.
By 10 o’clock the sun was nice and warm and we enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.

We had a very chilly early morning so it was great to have 14 volunteers turn up to work on our projects.
